Audi E-Tron Concept

Présentée au Salon de FrancFort, L’Audi E-Tron est la nouvelle petite bombe d’Audi sur base de la R8. Voiture de sport propulsée par 4 moteurs électriques placés aux 4 roues qui permet ainsi d’appliquer le label “quattro” de la marque. Développant 313 chevaux pour 4500 Nm (moteur électrique oblige) de couple, elle franchit le 0 à 100 km/h en 4,8 secondes. Ses 4 moteurs sont alimentés par une batterie Lithium-Ion de 42,4 KWh permettant de parcourir pas moins de 248 km à bord de ce bolide tout de rouge vêtu.

2009 Frankfurt Motor Show Debuts. Audi R8 Spyder. Ferrari 458 Italia. Mercedes-Benz SLS. Marussia B2 and More

Yesterday , the Frankfurt Motor Show just ended in Germany.  Here are some of the production cars that were unveiled there:

Aston Martin’s Rapide shown here is a four door sports car.  It accommodates 4 adults.  Th rear seats fall flat at the touch of a button to open the cargo space of 301 liters to 750 liters.  It features a 6.0 liter V12 engine that generates 470hp, torque stands at 443 lb ft and has a 6 speed Touchtronic 2 automatic transmission standard.  It does 0-60 mph in 5.1 seconds.

This is the 2010 Audi R8 Spyder 5.2 V10.  The convertible version of the popular Audi R8 supercar.  This one comes with the Gallardos’ Lamborghin-sourced V10.  that generates 525 hp. Folding the soft top takes less than 20 seconds.  Although the Spyder weighs 476 pounds more than the coupe version, the 2010 Audi R8 Spyder 5.2 V10 does 0-60 in 4 seconds!

The BMW Active Hybrid 7 combines a V8 gasoline engine , eight speed automatic transmission and an electric motor.  The engine is a 4.4 liter V8 to what they added a 35-cell lithium-ion battery creating an overall output of 342 KW/465 hp and a 0-60 of 4.0 seconds.

This of course is the new Ferrari 458 Italia. The successor to the Ferrari 450. This one has 562 hp, new brakes, suspension and a F1 -style seven-speed gearbox.

The New Hyundai Tucson ix35 here has a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder engine, gasoline or diesel with 166 hp or 184 hp.  It features Downhill Brake Control,Hill-Start Assist control and drives either front wheel drive or four wheel drive.

The Reventon Roadster, the jet inspired Lamborghini convertible, has a 6.5 liter V12 that makes 661 horsepower and 487 lb-ft of torque and all-wheel drive. It goes from zero to sixty two mph in 3.4 seconds.

This is the Lotus Evora type 124 Enurance Racer. It is the racing version of the Evora made by Lotus. This version has only one seat unlike the standard version that comes with four.  It’s power comes from a Toyota V6 midships tuned to produce 400 horsepower.  It’s rear wheel drive and has a sequential gearbox, track suspension and carbon-composite panels.

This car is freaking beautiful.  What we have here is the Marussia B2, a new Russian supercar.  Info is scarse but we know it has some kind of Nissan-Renault V6 under the hood. Promising performance this succesor to the B1 has a lot going for it.

And, this is the Marussia B1 Hybrid, another offering by the Russian Manufacturer.  We will let you know as more information becomes available about this cars.

The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG “Gullwing” shown here created something of a buzz in the web and here it is.  571 horsepower from a 6.3 liter V8, almost 50/50 weight distribution and a zero to sixty two mph of 3.8 seconds.  And, it will come as an electrical version in the future, as well.

Audi R8 Spyder - автомобил за гъзари

5.2-литровия FSI двигател с мощност 525к.с. и максимален въртящ момент 530Нм., посволяват на Audi R8 Spyder да ускорява от 0-100км/ч. за 4.1сек. и от 0-200км/ч. за 12.7сек., а максималната скорост, която може да развиете с кабриолета е 313км/ч.

Volkswagen Golf R

Primo: bisogna trovare una vera erede mk6 della sempreverde R32. Secondo: non è possibile che la Ford Focus RS sia sempre cosi avanti anni luce da tutte le altre (o quasi), bisogna trovare un modo di avvicinarsi alla concorrenza. Probabilmente questa può essere la volta buona, in Volkswagen sembra abbiano pensato davvero a tutto nella creazione di questa Gof R.

Dal punto di vista meccanico la R è mossa dall’ormai famoso TSI 2.0 litri 4 cilindri che abbiamo già visto su Audi S3, TTS o Scirocco R. Questo motore permette di erogare la bellezza di 270 CV a 6 mila giri/min e una coppia massima di 350 Nm in un range di 2500 giri/min (da 2500 a 5000 per la precisione). Le prestazioni sono di assoluto rilievo: la massima è limitata a 250 km/h e l’accelerazione 0-100 varia di 2 decimi di secondo in base all’adozione del cambio manuale (5,7 secondi) o automatico DSG (5,5 secondi). I consumi (secondo le dichiarazione del costruttore) sono scesi del 21% rispetto alla vecchia R32 toccando gli 8,5 litri di media ogni 100 km. E ora vediamo in cosa si differenziano le due versioni della Golf dal punto di vista estetico: l’assetto è stato in primis ribassato di 25mm tramite l’adozione di un nuovo impianto di sospensioni e sistema ESC appositamente tarato. Calandra anteriore, bandelle sottoporta e diffusore posteriore sono stati abilmente ridisegnati per creare un’aura sportiva intorno alla nuova Golf. Il design dello scarico (doppio centrale) è stato ripreso da quello dell’ultima R32 e mi lascia un po’ amareggiato. Ospitati nella calandra anteriore sono i nuovi fari diurni a LED, ormai d’obbligo su tutte le vetture di un certo calibro. I cerchi dal nuovo design sono standard da 18″ (opzionali da 19″) e calzano pneumatici 225/40 (235/35 su quelli da 19″). Gli interni sono sportivi, naturalmente: notiamo molti fregi R qua e là, sedili sportivi in due toni di colore, pedaliera d’alluminio e volante appiattito tra le altre soluzioni sportive di questa Golf R. Anche se non si è ancora ai livelli stilistici e di sportività pura della Focus RS questa R, che dopotutto è la più potente Golf mai prodotta, si sa difendere egragiamente. Ora aspettiamo solo le prime prove su strada per capire cosa sa dare veramente… -Symo-

Men's Fashion magazine launch with Hugo Boss

Toronto is the heart of Canada’s fashion scene, and boasts the best of the best in industry launches.  Last Thursday was no exception.  Hosted by a plethora of iconic brands, including Hugo Boss, CK and Elmer Olsen, this event popped off with a bevy of wine, hand-rolled cigars, and of course, beautiful people.  FASHION magazine – one of Canada’s leading style resources – launched their brand new magazine exclusively for males, Men’s FASHION.  (Note: Just cuz it’s for males, doesn’t mean the ladies can’t get their money’s worth out of this mag…with Justin Timberlake on the cover, and loads of drool-worthy gents front to back, this magazine will give you ear to ear smiles as it keeps you in tune with masculine style.)

The night culminated around a runway show highlighting the latest from HUGO  BOSS, and a siiiiick Audi – but don’t ask what kind it was…I couldn’t keep my peepers off of the eye candy models.  The clothes were edgy, yet debonair, perfect for the launch.  The final huzzah came from the intensely amazing swag bag, which included everything from Hugo face products, to full perfumes for him ‘n’ her, to sexy CK boxer briefs.

Thanks Men’s FASHION!  We had a great time, and will definitely be picking up ur mag from the stands in the future!

Audi A3 nere i 99 gram

Audi A3 1,6 TDI understiger 100 g/km i CO2-utsläpp

Med en förbrukning på 3,8 l / 100 km och utsläpp på 99 gram så ser kommande diesel A3:an mycket trevlig ut på pappret.

Audi A3 fick alldeles nyligen en ny dieselmotor på 1,6 liter som klarade miljöbilsklassningen med råge. Tack vare start/stopp-teknik och energi regenerering är koldioxidutsläppet 104 g/km. Men nästa år kommer en ännu snålare version där CO2-nivån uppges till 99 g/km. Modellen skall finnas för provkörning inom ett halvår och kommer både som vanlig A3 och i SportBack-utförande skriver AutoMotor&Sport.

Audi - "Intelligently Combined"

This spot showcases the Audi A4 2.0 TDI “e” and first aired earlier this month in Spain (it will roll out across Europe very soon). According to AdLand, the whole point of this was to represent Audi’s new tagline – “Efficient technologies, intelligently combined” – through a “highly complex yet ethereally beautiful visual device”.

You ask me, it looks like a giant transparent Rubik’s Cube. But as usual with Audi, it looks very very sleek and makes the message easily understandable. Brilliant!

Frankfurt 09 - 'Electricity Untamed' by Audi

Aren’t they cheeky at Audi? After months and months of saying ‘no, we don’t have any plan for an electric R8′, they launched some YouTube teasers ahead of Frankfurt saying ‘well, you know what, maybe we have after all’. You already know the result – the magnificent e-tron concept car.

Esportivo elétrico da Audi cai na internet

Pouco antes de ser revelado oficialmente, o esportivo E-Tron, da Audi, caiu na internet. É ele o veículo elétrico desenvolvido pela fabricante alemã para o Salão de Frankfurt. Seu estilo não nega: é pesadamente inspirado no R8. No entanto, pouco se sabe sobre seu sistema de propulsão.

A novidade é bastante interessante do ponto de vista mercadológico, ainda que o modelo não tenha um visual tão atraente quanto o R8. Para quem quer um veículo ecologicamente correto e esportivo, porém, eis uma boa oportunidade.

Aliás, a boa oportunidade virá quando o modelo for apresentado, provavelmente amanhã.
